Strategic Announcements

It is the “Silent Crisis” of the Middle East construction boom: We have the capital, we have the vision, but we lack the integrated human capability to deliver digital twins at scale. Today, BIM DESIGN LLC is proud to announce a transformative partnership with We Grow Minds to solve this exact problem.

The construction sector in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE is currently undergoing the most rapid digital transformation in history. Projects like The Line in NEOM, the Red Sea Project, and the expansion of North Field East are not just engineering marvels—they are data challenges. They require a workforce that is not only proficient in software like Revit and Navisworks but also capable of critical thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and adaptive leadership.

The “Hardware-Software-Human” Disconnect

For the past decade, the industry’s response to the “BIM mandate” has been technological. Companies have invested millions in high-performance workstations, cloud CDE licenses (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex), and laser scanning drones. Yet, project delivery metrics have remained stagnant. Why?

“You cannot solve a Level 3 BIM problem with Level 1 mindset. The tools have evolved, but the training models are stuck in 2010.”

The gap is no longer about “how to click the button.” It is about “why we are clicking it.” Engineers know how to model a wall in 3D. But do they understand how that wall’s metadata impacts the Facility Management team five years from now? Do they have the communication skills to resolve a clash coordination conflict with a stubborn MEP contractor without escalating it to a claim? This is where the hardware-software-human loop breaks down.

Why “We Grow Minds”?

When looking for a partner to launch our Integrated BIM Academy, we didn’t want another technical trainer. We wanted a company that understood the psychology of learning. We Grow Minds is a premier professional development firm based in Doha, specializing in leadership, soft skills, and organizational change capability.

This partnership effectively merges two distinct DNAs:

📐 BIM Design LLC

The “Hard” Skills: Deep technical expertise in ISO 19650, Scan-to-BIM, parametric modeling, Digital Twins, and asset lifecycle management. We bring the “What” and the “How”.

🧠 We Grow Minds

The “Soft” Skills: Leadership, agile project management, effective communication, and systems thinking. They bring the “Who” and the “Why”.

The New Curriculum: A First for the GCC

Together, we are launching a certified training roadmap designed specifically for the needs of GCC mega-projects. This is not a standard “Revit Basic to Advanced” course. This is a role-based, competency-driven program that creates Digital Delivery Leads.

1. The ISO 19650 Foundation

We move beyond theory. Students simulate a live project environment where they must manage an EIR (Exchange Information Requirements), develop a BEP (BIM Execution Plan), and actually set up a CDE. If they fail to name a file correctly according to the standard, the system rejects it—just like in the real world.

2. “Clash Resolution” Communication

This is a unique module developed by We Grow Minds. Technical professionals are taught negotiation and conflict resolution frameworks specifically for BIM Coordination meetings. We analyze real transcripts from site meetings to identify how “technical” issues are often “communication” issues in disguise.

3. Digital Twin Readiness

Understanding that the end goal is not 3D geometry, but Asset Information Models (AIM). We teach the data structures required for COBie and CAFM integration, ensuring our graduates are ready for the handover phase of complex assets.

Aligning with National Visions

This partnership is a direct response to Saudi Vision 2030 and the Qatar National Vision 2030. Both national agendas emphasize the transition to a knowledge-based economy. By localizing this high-level expertise, we are reducing the region’s dependence on imported temporary consultants and building a sustainable, indigenous digital engineering workforce.

We are not just training employees; we are building the digital backbone of the nation’s infrastructure.

Enrollment & Next Steps

The first cohort of the Strategic BIM Management Program begins in April 2026. Seats are strictly limited to ensure a high instructor-to-student ratio. This program is ideal for BIM Managers, Project Managers, and Senior Engineers who are ready to make the leap to strategic digital leadership.
